Love Story

It is almost the perfect love story about a rich boy who falls in love with a beautiful poor girl, just that the ending is a tragedy. Even the first lines of the story do imply this, which awoke my curiosity to read further. It begins with the opening sentence “what can I tell about a 25 year old woman that died”. I think this is unusual for a love story, because it gives us the end since the beginning of the idea that it won’t end in a good way as we usual expect from such stories. The boy, called Oliver, is a student who wants to go at Harvard and studying law. He comes from a wealthy family meets a Librarian worker, Jennifer. Oliver goes there to find a book, and Jennifer is already argumentative when she sees him. She knows that he is rich and calls him preppy. Jennifer is a funny person who likes to joke around and all the times she makes fun of Oliver. Whereas, Oliver is a serious guy and is a bit unsecure in Jennifer’s near. As much as they argue with each other, we can see that there is also a affection between them going on. I think that their differences make them so attracted to each other. In the story we have many conflicts going on like: their social classes, characters, and ethnicity.
